Authentic Cheap NBA Nike Cleveland Cavaliers Womens Jerseys China 2018

MINNEAPOLIS — Following their most lopsided loss of the season — a 127-99 defeat at the hand of the Minnesota Timberwolves — several members of the Cleveland Cavaliers were at a loss for words Monday.

“Tonight, I don’t know what tonight was,” said Kevin Love. “It was just ugly. We were getting good shots up, I think, all the way around. We got really good shots to start the game. They just didn’t fall and that kind of held true throughout the entire game, and it seemed like they hit everything. So it’s easy to say it’s just one of those nights, but in a lot of cases there’s a lot of things that we can do better.”

Cleveland trailed 20-4 to start the game and shot just 8-for-23 in the first quarter (34.8 percent), compared to 13-for-22 for Minnesota (59.1 percent). The Cavs shot especially poor from the outside, going 1-for-10 on 3-pointers in the opening frame.

It only got worse from there. The Cavs fell down by as many as 41 points, accounting for their largest deficit of the season — they trailed by 37 against the Orlando Magic en route to a 114-91 loss on Oct. 21. They finished with 14 turnovers resulting in 19 points for the Wolves, compared to just five turnovers for Minnesota.

“They put a good one on us,” said LeBron James, who scored a season-low 10 points. It was his lowest scoring total since 2007. “[We] got it to 14 at the end of the first, but we didn’t get any closer than that.”

James logged the worst plus-minus of his 15-year career, registering a minus-39 in 27 minutes in the 1,101st game he has played in the NBA.

“I don’t care about no damn plus-minus,” James said. “I’ve won a game and had a bad plus-minus before, so what does that matter. I don’t give a damn about no damn plus-minus.”

EDITOR’S PICKS

Cavaliers’ Thomas ejected for hit on Wiggins
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Isaiah Thomas was ejected from Monday’s game after swinging his right arm upward at the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins in the third quarter.
James cared considerably more about the Cavs’ recent struggles, as Monday’s loss dropped their record to 3-6 in their past nine games.

Asked if all the losses had anything in common, James said, “Yeah, we’re just not playing well right now.”

James, who kept his head down during his brief postgame media session rather than making eye contact with reporters as is his custom, was asked if he was still “even-keeled” after the loss. Over the weekend, James downplayed Cleveland’s recent struggles, saying, “We know who we are now, what we want to do. Sometimes even when you know, you still take some bumps along that road, that’s OK.”

What was his sentiment on the subject Monday?

“Uh, just want to get better,” James said.

James echoed the same refrain when asked if the Cavs’ offense or defense was more to blame against the Wolves.

“Uh, we just want to get better,” he repeated.

The Cavs now have seven double-digit losses on the season out of their 14 defeats. By contrast, they have just seven double-digit wins on the season out of their 26 victories.

“It happens,” said Cavs coach Tyronn Lue of the blowout nature of the game. “It happens three or four times a year to a lot of teams. We’re not normally a team that gets beat like that.”
Despite three of his starters — Isaiah Thomas (0-for-7), Love (0-for-6) and JR Smith (0-for-5) — combining to shoot 0-for-18 in the first half against Minnesota, Lue said he had no lineup changes planned for Thursday’s game against the Toronto Raptors.

Instead, Lue put the blame on the Cavs’ defense, which allowed 127 points for the second straight game.

“We haven’t been able to stop [teams] as of late,” Lue said. “Defense [problem areas are] just one-on-one off the dribble, pick-and-roll has been our Achilles’ heel. And transition. They got all three tonight.”

A midseason downturn is nothing new for the Cavs. They’ve dealt with slumps each of the past three regular seasons and rallied to make the NBA Finals the past three years.

Love said Cleveland will lean on its experience to navigate its current rough patch.

“We’re a veteran team and we know what we’re capable of, and it can’t be so easy for us to get in those lulls and not try to dig ourselves out of them,” Love said. “So we got to be better.”

Cheap Authentic NBA Houston Rockets Jerseys

HOUSTON — After rolling through the first quarter and building a sizeable lead over the Brooklyn Nets, James Harden said the Houston Rockets’ momentum was interrupted by something they hadn’t seen in a long time — a zone defense.

In Houston’s 117-103 win over Brooklyn, Harden scored 20 of his 37 points in the first quarter. When he took a break with 1:28 remaining in the first quarter, he was outscoring the Nets 20-17 by himself, not to mention four assists at that point. He was 5-for-5 from 3-point range in the first quarter and finished 8-for-13.

But when Brooklyn went to a zone defense for the first time all season, Harden said the Rockets had to make adjustments.

“They went zone, and it kind of threw us for a loop,” Harden said. “We weren’t making shots. That zone kind of messed us up a little bit.”

Nets coach Kenny Atkinson likened Houston’s hot start to a hurricane and said the Rockets hit them with a one-two punch, going up 43-26 after the first.

“When they scored 43, it was like, `We’ve got to do something different, guys,” Atkinson said. “They still scored a lot of points, but it helped slow them down and at least made them pause and made them think a little.”

Harden added 10 rebounds and eight assists to guide the Rockets to their fifth straight win. Despite the string of blowout victories, Harden said it’s easy to stay self-critical and focus on improving, while Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni said he’s staying on top of his team.

“The mentality of, ‘I’m going to play well all the time,’ that’s utopia, that’s not possible,” D’Antoni said. “So I just cry around and moan around for a while, but I’ll be all right. I’ll get over it.”

Clint Capela added 20 points for Houston, and Chris Paul had a season-high 14 assists on “Chris Paul Bobblehead Night” at the Toyota Center.

“We’ve got to keep getting better, especially, defensively,” Paul said. “We can’t just always rely on our offense. But we’ll take the wins. Every game is different, but right now, we’re just trying to pile up the wins.”

For the Nets, Isaiah Whitehead led scorers with 24 points, matching his career high. The Brooklyn native, who was called up from the G-League on Monday morning, shot 10 of 16 from the field.

“I was just staying ready to take opportunities and doing well with them,” Whitehead said. “I’ll stay ready throughout the year, and hopefully, I’ll get more chances.”

Spencer Dinwiddie had 14 points, Caris LeVert had 13 and Sean Kilpatrick added 12. Coming off of a 98-88 win in Memphis on Sunday night, Brooklyn has lost four of its last five.

Houston led 66-55 at halftime and entered the fourth quarter with a 16-point lead.

TIP-INS

Nets: Forwards DeMarre Carroll (upper respiratory condition) and Allen Crabbe (lower back soreness) were both out. … Quincy Acy had seven points in 20 minutes after missing the previous two games by coach’s decision.

Rockets: Houston was without two of its big men — veteran center Nene was inactive with a strained right shoulder, while rookie center Zhou Qi had a sore left calf. . The Rockets have won 10 of their last 11 meetings at home against Brooklyn.

STICK TO BASEBALL

Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers, who won Game 3 of the 2017 World Series on his way to earning a ring, was the celebrity guest as part of Houston’s “First Shot” promotion featuring a local celebrity shooting a pregame free throw for a chance to earn a $5,000 donation from the Rockets to charity. Despite strong form, McCullers’ shot rattled in and out, still earning a $1,000 donation to charity.

DANGER ZONE

On trying out a zone defense for the first time this season, Atkinson said it was an idea he’s mulled before but never followed through. “I’ve always thought about it, but I’ve never had the guts to try it.”

ANOTHER ONE

The Rockets hit 20 3-pointers against Brooklyn, marking their fifth straight game of recording 18 or more 3-pointers made. No other team in NBA history has such a streak that lasted longer than two games. Houston has shot 40 percent from 3-point range in four of its past five games. The Rockets are 26-1 when shooting 40 percent or better from beyond the arc under D’Antoni.

CP3′S CLEAN PLAY

Paul didn’t have a turnover, marking the eighth time in his career he has recorded 14 or more assists without a turnover, all coming since the start of the 2008-09 season. No other player has more than five games of doing so.

Cheap Football Cleveland Cavaliers Elite Tyronn Lue Jerseys 2017

CLEVELAND — For Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue, the shootings in Las Vegas became personal.
Lue said he personally knows three people who were shot Sunday night when a gunman armed with high-powered assault rifles smashed open to hotel windows and opened fire on concert-goers, killing 59 and wounding more than 500 in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
Lue, who has lived in Las Vegas over the past nine summers, said he knew about 15 people who were at the show.
“Just a horrible thing to have to go through, especially when I lived there for nine years and knowing all the people I know out there that work at the Mandalay Bay and Aria,” Lue said Wednesday night before the Cavs hosted the Atlanta Hawks in their first exhibition game. “I feel sorry for all the loved ones of each one that lost someone or been badly hurt. It’s just not a good thing. I’ve been touched by a few people who’d gotten injured, who’d gotten shot. Just a tough position to be in.

In his third season as Cleveland’s coach, Lue wouldn’t comment on changing gun laws, but would be in favour of anything to prevent bloodshed.
“Whatever we can do to try to eliminate these types of situations, I’m all for it,” he said. “I’m not really a political guy who says what you should do. Whatever we can do to stop these types of violent acts, I’m all for it.”

With visions of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz playing together, Philadelphia 76ers fans are lining up to buy tickets.

Sales have spiked since Saturday, since news of their trade with the Boston Celtics to acquire the No. 1 pick in Thursday’s draft. The Sixers have sold a franchise-record 14,000 season tickets for 2017-18 and expect to sell out all of their home games.

“Fortunately we’re able to break the Sixers’ all-time record for season-ticket memberships,” Sixers chief sales and marketing officer Christopher Heck told CSNPhilly.com. “That is a testament to the strong fandom that we believe not only is this a true sports town, but it’s a basketball town.”

With management preaching patience, the Sixers have been quietly increasing their season-ticket sales. During the summer of 2013, they sold 3,400 season tickets. Last season, almost 10,000. And now, 14,000.

They’re first in the league in new full-season ticket packages.

“To see what’s going on right now is something we’ve experienced over the last, really, four years that started with the most loyal fans, with season-ticket holders,” Heck said.
